The Collective Theater of Personal Anxieties

The Collective Theater of Personal Anxieties is a series of short-form toy theater performances created to be performed in slams and cabarets. The narrator wryly exposes our shared neuroses and social frustrations in order to trace them to cultural pressures. Spoiler alert: it's almost always capitalism. Subjects have included freaking out at the grocery store, too many kinds of chips, practices for changing the world, and how to program Jewish holidays into your Google calendar so you feel less guilty about missing Yom Kippur.
This series has been performed in part at Black Cherry Puppet Theater, Great Small Works, the Coney Island Puppets Come Home!, We Wiggle Dolls, and the UConn Puppet Slam.
