Teaching has been a key part of my artistic practice since 2011. My experience as a teaching artist has been both in and out of classrooms, with people of all ages. I've taught with the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, where I helped to facilitate the first years of maker spaces at Hosanna House and Action Housing, a transitional housing facility. I've also taught with the Pittsburgh Center for Arts and Media as a resident artist of their Artists in Schools and Communities Program, with classrooms in the Allegheny County Jail and Summer Dreamers. In the summer of 2020, I received a grant from the Connecticut State Arts Council to make free online puppet workshops, the videos of which are all available on the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry's Youtube page. Some are linked below. Teaching CV available upon request.
