Influenced by American philosopher Dr. Jane Bennett, my work often involves the animation of the inanimate and a theme of thing power. I believe the use of everyday objects in puppetry elevates the art forms accessibility and wonder. I have performed this work at the UConn Humanities Festival, Black Cherry Puppet Theater, UConn Puppet Slams, and more.
