How to Know A Whale

How to Know a Whale (fka ISH) is a 40-minute puppet show best suited for kids ages 5-12. Themes include ocean ecology, loneliness, creative problem solving, and bravery. This piece invites the audience to think like a scientist using automata, shadow puppets, and object performance. It features original music by Juliana Carr and travels by bicycle. This show has been performed at Walker Art Center, In the Heart of the Beast Theater, and across parks in Minneapolis, with generous support from the Minneapolis Parks Board.
